Grand Ridge Town Hall is open

Rumors started circulating following last night’s town council meeting that the employees at the town hall had resigned.

Following last night’s meeting, the Times spoke with Grand Ridge Mayor Chris Harrell Friday morning. Harrell said, “No one has been fired at Grand Ridge. We're just going through a transition of trying to find a town manager. And, you know, we ask questions to employees, how they feel about things, and that's just, you know how you do things when you’re looking for a manager. I'm just being honest.”

Mayor Chris Harrell is at Grand Ridge Town Hall today and we are told the office will be covered pending the hiring of a new town manager.
