Rett Daniels named interim administrator

The Jackson County Board of County Commissioners voted unanimously to name deputy administrator Rett Daniels as interim administrator at their monthly meeting Tuesday.

Daniels was named interim administrator retroactive to June 04, 2025, and effective until the new county administrator Jim Dean begins his employment. This was done to allow operations to move forward in the interim.

Daniels presided over the Board meeting Tuesday and will continue until Dean takes office on June 18, 2025.
