Bridgerton High Tea event = huge success

By: Shelia Mader

The Russ House was transformed last Saturday evening to a scene from the Bridgerton television series by the First Ladies of Sneads. There was entertainment by violinist Terra Jean Otto with A New Chapter: Books & More offering a pop-up shop of select books, along with a silent auction.

The theme was beautifully carried out and the event was deemed a huge success.

As attendees walked into the Russ House, they immediately felt like they were on the scene from the Bridgerton series, complete from the attire they were dressed in to the place settings and the array of food selected for the event. One attendee said it all, “All the girls came and were just so beautiful. It was just amazing. I didn’t know a thing about anything called Bridgerton, you know, and I was just beside myself about the people that were in character, you know, acting like some of the characters off the show. It was so much fun. The minute they walked in, it was like they transformed, the proper attire and everything.

The First Ladies of Sneads caters to fundraisers throughout the year to fund their many projects. Those projects include assisting the City of Sneads with various events throughout the year, coats, and heater drives for those without in the winter and anything they see where there is a need, they are there. They are a 501C that gives generously to the citizens in need.
