One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 10 near mile marker 144 on September 15, 2025 at 7:35 a.m.

A pick-up driven by a 32-year-old Altha woman was traveling westbound in the inside lane of I-10 and a sedan driven by a 37-year-old Grand Ridge man was traveling at low speed westbound in the outside lane of I-10.

The pickup moved from the inside lane to the outside lane to overtake the sedan but the front of the pickup collided with the rear of the sedan.
