Alford Community Organization doubles scholarships

The Alford Community Organization is proactive month after month, year after year. Holidays, back-to-school drives, springtime and autumn activities keep the members

on their toes. The payoff from those events is lots and lots of happy kids who have days of enjoyment due to the hard work of the ACO.

At the end of each school year, the ACO has been able to gift a scholarship to a deserving student. This year, they were excited with the record turnout of applicants they

received and stepped up to the challenge with an added scholarship. Two well-rounded students were recipients of ACO scholarships this year.

This year’s scholarships went to Kaylee Cripes and Robby Griffin.

Congratulations to Kaylee and Robby and a round of applause for the job the ACO does for the Alford community.
