Chambers Meet at Tri County Airport for Networking

Business and community leaders from Holmes, Jackson and Washington counties gathered Thursday evening at the Tri-County Airport in Bonifay for a joint chamber event aimed at strengthening regional ties and promoting economic collaboration. The event, billed as a tri-chamber after-hours experience, brought together members of the three county chambers of commerce in a setting that highlighted the airport’s role as a shared asset for the region. Attendees spent the evening networking and discussing opportunities to work more closely across county lines, with a focus on supporting local businesses, increasing visibility for the area, and encouraging future growth. Organizers emphasized the importance of a unified approach to economic development, pointing to the airport and other regional resources as key pieces in attracting investment and expanding business opportunities. Jackson County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Nikisha Milsapp posted on the Chamber’s social media page, “It was great connecting with both new faces and familiar faces, including friends in leadership like Keith Gross and State Representative Shane Abbott.”
