City recognizes Jaquavius Flownory as Employee of the Quarter

The City of Marianna prides itself in recognizing exceptional work from their employees. This is done in two ways; one of those is for their longevity that is recognized every five years. The other is as Employee of the Quarter for work above and beyond what is expected of them.
At their regular monthly meeting Tuesday night, the Commission recognized Jaquavius Flownory as Employee of the Quarter. Flownory works in the Public Works Department and is supervised directly by Sam Everett and Public Works Director Clay Wells.
Everett said in recommending Flownory, “Jaquavius has gone above and beyond this past quarter at one point or another, such as the road grader, backhoe, and skid steer. He also operated a lot of different heavy equipment this quarter at one point or another, such as the road grader, backhoe and skid steer.”
Everett said, “Jaquavius met those challenges with a positive attitude and a level of commitment and assertiveness that is commendable. I deem him to be a great candidate for Employee of the Quarter for the City of Marianna.”
The Board presented Flownory with a certificate and a check. Mayor Travis Ephriam and the Board of Commissioners congratulated Flownory and thanked him for his work.
