Word of the Day:

Friday: Deem : Verb. To come to think or judge. She deemed it was wise to drive slower with the roads wet from the storm.

Saturday: Exhilarate: Verb. To cause (someone) to feel very happy and excited. She was exhilarated by the prospect of attending her dream school.

Sunday:  Astir: Adjective. In a state of excited movement. The subway station was astir with traffic, buskers, and tourists.

Monday: Buskers: Noun. A street performer who sings, plays musical instruments, dances, or performs, typically in public areas. The commuter train always has a variety of buskers in every car.

Tuesday: Cloister: Verb.  To seclude from the world. To surround with the intention of secluding. This spring I hope to cloister my garden with a stone wall to make it more private and cozy.

Wednesday: Cache: Noun. A secret or inaccessible storage location. Computer memory for storing recently used data. The police discovered a cache of balloon animals when raiding the clown’s car.

Thursday: Tarry: Verb. Stay longer than intended; delay leaving a place. Since classes were canceled, Kyle had time to tarry.
