First Robotic Surgery Performed At Jackson Hospital

Jackson County, Fla. - This week at Jackson Hospital, Dr. Chai Arunakul performed the first surgery using the Da Vinci Surgical Robot - a historic milestone for our community!

Dr. Arunakul has worked tirelessly for hours perfecting the new techniques, and flying to training locations to be ready to provide this valuable service.

We’re also excited that Dr. Rachael Barnes, General Surgeon, was on hand to be part of this groundbreaking OR day.
