Florida Primary Sets November Matchups

Florida voters have chosen the Republican and Democratic nominees who will meet in several key state and regional races this November. The percentages below reflect each winner's support within his or her own party primary, according to unofficial election-night results.

In the race for governor, Republican Byron Donalds won his party's nomination with 47.79% of the vote. He will face the Democratic ticket of David Jolly and running mate Gwen Graham, which received 60.96% in the Democratic primary.

The U.S. Senate contest will feature incumbent Republican Ashley Moody, who won 79.57% of the Republican primary vote, against Democratic nominee Angie Nixon, who received 56.06% in her party's primary.

In Florida's 2nd Congressional District, Republican Austin Rogers won a crowded primary with 30.47% of the vote. He will face Democratic nominee Amanda Marie Green, who led her party's field with 33.47%.

The race for Florida chief financial officer will pit incumbent Republican Blaise Ingoglia against Democrat Annette Taddeo. Ingoglia received 61.32% of the Republican primary vote, while Taddeo won 65.64% in the Democratic contest.

For commissioner of agriculture, incumbent Republican Wilton Simpson won renomination with 68.91% of the vote. He will face Democrat Joey Mendoza Atkins, who received 60.28% in her party's primary.

The nominees now move on to the November 3 general election. Election-night results remain unofficial until certified.
