Two badly injured in single vehicle accident. 

The Jackson County Times received the following press release from the Florida Highway Patrol.

A 71-year-old Clarksville, Florida man and a 61-year-old Clarksville Florida man were both badly injured in a single vehicle accident on County Road 165A near Wolf Pond Road.

At approximately 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 17 their vehicle, a blue Chevy SUV pulling an empty flatbed trailer, was traveling north on County Road 165A approaching Wolf Pond Road.

For unknown reasons the SUV drifted onto the east shoulder of the roadway and lost control, turning sideways and overturning onto the roadway of County Road 165A.

The driver, the Clarksville man, was ejected from the vehicle and suffered critical injuries while female passenger suffered serious injuries.

Both occupants were evacuated by helicopter due to their injuries.
