Jayla Lewis is spiking to the next level

Sneads High volleyball standout Jayla Lewis had a breakout senior season on the court. The year was so awesome that her athleticism caught the attention of Warner University in Lake Wales, Florida.
Before teammates, classmates, friends, family members, and Sneads High faculty and staff, she signed on the dotted line to continue her volleyball playing days. Her level of play gave new meaning to spiked her senior year.
Lewis recorded 242 kills, 39 aces, 23 blocks, 252 digs, and 278 serves.
Lewis thanked her coaches, family, and supporters for encouraging and cheering her on as a Pirate.
Congratulations to Jayla Lewis on moving on up from the publisher and staff of the Jackson County Times.
