The Marianna Bulldogs traveled to Sneads last Thursday night to take on the Pirates. The Pirates appeared to be in control following the halftime break. They went on to win the game, 22-8.

Marianna and Sneads were held off the scoreboard in the first quarter but knotted it up at eight in the second quarter.

Sneads added a second touchdown and two-point conversion in the third quarter to move ahead 16-8. The final score came in the fourth quarter when Sneads added a touchdown. The Bulldog defense negated the two-point conversion.

Scoring for Sneads was Kaiden Chehardy with two touchdowns while Darin Manning had a pick six on the night.

Individual stats were not available for the Bulldogs. The Labor Day holiday takes its toll on obtaining stats, but the Times will work to get the individual stats and post in next week’s edition of the Times.
