The City of Marianna recognizes the importance of acknowledging employees for the work they do. Small gestures, such as recognizing five-, ten-, or even longer service anniversaries, help remind employees that their dedication is appreciated.
City Manager William Long recently told the Marianna City Commission that one employee was being recognized for reaching a service milestone.
Nicole Henderson received a certificate honoring five years of service with the City of Marianna. Henderson serves as the city’s accounts payable and payroll clerk and is well known among city employees.
“She’s been here a whopping five years, and we are super happy that she’s here,” Long said. “We’re thrilled with the job that she does.”
Commission members asked Henderson how long she planned to stay and said they hoped it would be for many more years. They also thanked her for the dedication and attention she brings to her work.
