For those who live in the city limits of Marianna or Sneads, they know the services Waste Pro provides in picking up their trash. They work hard to make sure pickups are made on schedule.
As part of their commitment to their employees, they stress safety above all else. Last Friday, Waste Pro celebrated five drivers who were awarded $10,000 each Safety Bonus, totalling $50,000. Former Jackson County resident Dennis Jones is an Automated Sideload Driver out of the Marianna Division. Jones services the City of Marianna, and averages around 700 homes a day. He earned Waste Pro’s 10K Safety Bonus awards driver for three years of no safety violations, no accidents, no property damage, and no customer complaints. In that three-year period, Jones serviced 525,000 homes without an incident. Jones currently resides in Holmes County.
Also awarded were driver Rafael Alberto who is a four-time winner, driver Thomas Batka also a four-time winner, driver Ray Sessions a two-time winner, and driver David Prince a one-time winner.
Waste Pro's Safety Culture is known throughout the industry and are the only hauling company to give back to their drivers at these levels.
Waste Pro also proudly contributes to the annual Fourth of July Fireworks Extravaganza hosted by Main Street Marianna. They have been participants in this endeavor for several years.
Each year, they host a noon meal with all the trimmings for every city employee as well as all first responders for both the City of Marianna and the City of Sneads.
For the last two years, they have supported the Jackson County School District with school supplies giveaways prior to the start of the school year.
