The Jackson County Board of County Commissioners honored Timothy Perry for a decade of dedicated service Tuesday at their regularly scheduled county commission meeting. The presentation was made by Jeffrey Register, Director of Road and Bridge, who praised Perry’s commitment, character, and contributions both on and off the job.
Timmy Perry began his career with the county as a dump truck driver and steadily advanced through various roles, including grader and loader operator, before moving into fleet maintenance and inventory control in 2021. In 2022, he was promoted to Assistant Road and Bridge Director, a role in which he continues to demonstrate excellence.
Beyond his professional achievements, Perry is known for his moral integrity and strong character. He was described as someone who embodies virtue, consistently choosing to do what is right. Register highlighted Perry’s ability to stay true to his values, lead by example, and offer trusted advice.
Outside of work, Perry is equally active in the community. He has been married to his wife Anderial for 10 years, and they have two children, a daughter Timara and son, Coya. He serves as a deacon, volunteers as a firefighter, works at a local funeral home, and even helps with yard work in his spare time.
Timothy Perry’s recognition not only marks a milestone in his career but also shines a light on a man respected for his work ethic, leadership, and service to both the county and his community.
