Tony Pumphrey supports Project Graduation

District 2 school board member Tony Pumphrey knows the importance of giving back to the community. You can see him at school functions in his district and beyond throughout the year. He doesn’t stop from June to August but participates in activities for students and youth through summer, fall, winter and spring. If you need a scorekeeper for a game, he’s the first to raise his hand. The same is true for concession work, maintenance of fields, and projects within the schools.

With graduation around the corner and complete for some schools, two schools will have an added gift for their Project Graduation celebration. Pumphrey donated two Chromebooks, one for Cottondale and one for Graceville, to be given away during Project Grad.

When asked about his donation, Pumphrey said, “I felt like the Chromebooks were something that would help with students continuing their education and they could use them for personal use. It’s important to me as a school board member, and as a Christian to give back when I can and I was glad to do this.”
