Jack Cliff Gallira

Jack Cliff Gallira, age 80, of Marianna, FL passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Chipola Health & Rehabilitation surrounded by his loving wife, Barbara, caring nurse, Celinda and other family members.

Jack on born on January 23, 1945 in Bainbridge, GA to the late Cliff Edward and Beatrice "Pat" Gallira. Jack was the owner of High Pointe Land Company as he developed real estate. He served as the Treasurer of Harbour Village Board of Directors for four years, served as a Board Member as well as the past President of Palm Bay HOA, received top sales awards with BlueGreen Land and Golf for three consecutive years. Jack also volunteered with the Red Cross Disaster Relief Efforts in the state of Virginia, he volunteered with breast cancer survivors with fund raising for two years in Panama City, FL, where he received a commendation plaque and he also enjoyed mentoring young men and women to become successful land sales professionals. Above all, Jack was a family man who loved his family and his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cliff Edward and Beatrice "Pat" Gallira.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Barbara Gallira of Marianna, FL; sons, Richard Tate (Jana) of Auburn, AL, Joseph Gallira of Carry, NC, Tony Gallira of Dothan, AL; daughters, Alison Tate of Marianna, FL, Sheila Bryson (Jim) of North Carolina, Liza Register (Forrest) of Dothan, AL as well as his grandchildren, Carson Tate (Elise), Ansley Tate, Gracie Freeman, Madison Freeman, Brack Register, Ava Register, and Megan Bryson.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Chaplain Gino Mayo officiating. 

The family will receive friends for a time of fellowship from 1:00 P.M., until the time of service at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home

The family would like to express a special thank you to Emerald Coast Hospice, Dr. Joe Gay and Dr. John Spence, Chipola Health and Rehabilitation staff and nurses including, Mike, Celinda, Charity, Melissa, and Ryan; his former nurse, Bonita Barbee, and current nurse, Tonya Lawrence who is very special to Jack and Barbara.
