Everly Rae Grant and Sylas Lamar Grant

In loving memory of Everly Rae Grant and Sylas Lamar Grant, who brought unparalleled joy and light to the lives of those who knew them. Everly and Sylas, siblings so full of life and promise, left us too soon on February 8, 2026, but their spirits will forever echo in the hearts of their family and friends.

Everly Rae Grant and Sylas Lamar Grant

Everly, a bright and spirited first grader at Bonifay Elementary School, embodied creativity and zest for life. Her love for art reflected her vibrant personality, and she loved being outdoors. Swimming in the summer with her cousins brought her unimaginable joy, and her laughter could fill any room, especially when watching her favorite shows, Bluey and Super Kitties. Everly’s heart was especially large when it came to her younger brother, Sylas; she embraced her role as the best big sister with unwavering love. Her cousin, Sutton, was her closest friend, sharing countless adventures and cherished memories. Everly loved life in all its beauty, had a special fondness for kitty cats and the iconic movie The Lion King, and will always be remembered for her beautiful spirit and incredible heart.

Sylas, the happiest boy you could ever meet, had the most infectious joy. His laughter rang like music to the ears of all around him. With his love for trucks, doggies, and dinosaurs, he was always ready for adventure, especially with his beloved sister, Everly, by his side. The bond they shared was incredibly special, as Sylas always wanted to be near his sissy, eager to partake in every moment. The two would spend hours in the fort they built in the woods behind their house, exploring their imaginations together. Sylas looked forward to the day when he would become a big brother to his unborn sibling, Kolson, a role that filled him with excitement and anticipation. Whether they were splashing in the water at the park or playing together in the backyard, their happiness was contagious, touching the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing them.

Everly and Sylas were preceded in passing by their paternal grandfather, Larry Grant, and their older brother, Landyn Grant.

Everly and Sylas are cherished by their loving parents, Myranda Leigh Goodman and Stephen Grant. They are lovingly remembered by their  maternal grandparents, Vicky French and Edward Goodman Jr., their paternal grandparents, Jessica Harris and husband David, as well as their brother Logan and unborn brother Kolson. They leave behind a vast family of aunts, uncles, and cousins whose lives were infinitely enriched by their smiles and laughter.

The visitation and funeral services for Everly and Sylas will take place on February 14, 2026, at CrossPoint Church of Ponce De Leon, located at 1488 US-90, Ponce De Leon, FL 32455. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM.

While Everly and Sylas have departed this world, their legacy will continue through the cherished memories they created. Though our hearts ache with their absence, we find solace in the joy they brought to each of us, and we honor their beautiful spirits as they soar among the stars. The family would like to request that those in attendance wear bright colors, as their favorite colors were the ones in the rainbow.
