Mr. Blake Moore

With saddened hearts, we announce the passing of Mr. Blake Moore, who departed this life on November 5th, 2025, at the age of 73.

A father and brother whose love reached far and wide, Mr. Moore leaves behind a beautiful legacy through his five children; Blake Moore Jr., Rosalyn Moore, Kendrick Highsmith, Brandy Johnson, and Sophelia Russ; and his treasured grandchildren, Ma’kel Moore, Madison Moore, Raheem Perryman, Miracle A. Moore, Odonaven Johnson, O’riyah Johnson, Jabriel Favors, and Mark Moore Jr.; he is also remembered with love by his devoted sister, Bobbie Donaldson, and caring brother, Amin Rashard (Dallas); along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

A public viewing will be Friday November 14th from 3-6pm at Peoples Funeral Home Chapel.  A service celebrating Blake’s life will be Saturday, November 15th at 11am at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Dwight Cockerham, Sr., Minister Norris Calhoun, Bishop Adrian Abner and Bishop Jordan Williams officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery with arrangements entrusted to the caring and licensed professionals at Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna.
