Berdia Beatrice Pittman-Gillette

Berdia Beatrice Pittman-Gillette was born on June 19,1935, in Campbellton, Florida to Owens Pittman Sr and Costelia Daniels Pittman. She was the second of eleven children. On January 12, 2026 at the age of 90, Berdia peacefully fell asleep in death.

She is survived by two of her five sons, Derrick (Carol) Gillette and Mikki Gillette Sr. And one son whom she chose as her own Wayne (Cassandra) Daniels.

Her five remaining siblings Carl (Vanessa) Pittman, Tim (Carmen) Pittman, Bernie (Kevin) Montes, Bernice Pittman and Gwendolyn (Frank) Toney.

She also leaves to cherish her memory her Grandchildren: Carmen (Tony) Broomes, Candace (Daniel) Ngounou, Cedric (Nore) Gillette II, Ryan (Angelique) Gillette, Tia (Tony)Williams, Marissa Gillette, Erin Gillette, Mikki (Amanda) Gillette,Jr, Hillary (Marque) Fullerton, Carmen Daniels and Courtney (Jay) Johnson.

Plus 12 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins whom she loved completely.

We wish to extend our sincere appreciation for the words of encouragement, many prayers, cards, visits, kind lovely expressions of sympathy from family, friends, and neighbors.

We especially appreciated the health agencies Emerald Coast Hospice Center, and Gentiva Hospice Center of Baldwin County Alabama as well as the Senior Citizens Center of Florida. Words do not convey how much we appreciate you.
