Cory Jaymeson Johnson

Cory Jaymeson Johnson, passed away on April 2, 2026, at the age of 28. He was born on February 27, 1998, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and lived a life marked by adventure, devotion, and a deep love for his family.

Cory was a proud and loving father, and his greatest achievement was being the father of his three-year-old daughter, Cianna. He cherished every moment with her and embraced fatherhood with a heart full of love, patience, and pride.

Cory was talented in construction work and was proud of the skills he developed. Beyond his work, Cory was adventurous and embraced life with curiosity and enthusiasm. He enjoyed fishing, skateboarding, camping, exploring new places, storytelling, and traveling. He found joy in experiences that allowed him to discover something new, and he had a natural gift for making ordinary moments feel memorable. His stories, laughter, and love will forever be remembered.

He is survived by his daughter, Cianna Johnson; his father, Randall Johnson; his mother, Heather Johnson; his brothers, Aaron, Gregory and Harrison Johnson; his sisters, Lisa Johnson (Robert Bailey, Jr.) and Kady Johnson; his grandfather, Gregory T. Myers; his aunt, Lisa Brewer; his uncle, Gregory Myers; two nieces and a host of cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Penny Myers. Cory also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will forever remember his warm presence and adventurous heart.

A celebration of life will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 13, 2026 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Chris Langland officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service.
