David Tulloch Galloway Jr., 69, passed away after a brief illness on June 21, 2025.
David Tulloch Galloway Jr.
Born on March 10, 1956, in Newark, New Jersey, Dave lived a life marked by service, compassion, and conviction. He proudly served his country as an Army paratrooper, and later in the National Guard. He wore many hats during his lifetime from water plant operator to chef. He later went on to become a devoted educator. His leadership extended beyond the classroom, where he championed the rights of his colleagues as a union president. Dave was a tireless advocate for justice, known for helping the oppressed, and uplifting those in need. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, David and Anne Galloway. He is survived by his loving wife, Cay; his son, Dillon; his brothers, Scott(Holly) and Alen(Debbie); and his sister, Nancy; nephews Brody and Gavin and niece, Savannah.
Those who knew Dave will remember his love for his family, unwavering commitment to leading with integrity, teaching with heart, cooking with passion, and living with purpose. Dave had a special place in his heart for Scotland, homeland of his parents. He especially loved to visit Scotland and relatives there.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th at 2:00 PM CST at Emmanuel Holiness Church, 3502 Sandridge Church Road, Sneads, Florida.
