Dennis Hayes Powledge

Dennis Hayes Powledge, age 76, of Marianna, Florida went to meet his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Chipola Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Dennis was born in Marianna, FL on November 13, 1949 to Helen and Frank Powledge.  He graduated from Marianna High School in 1968 and was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Marianna.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Dennis is survived by his twin brother, Darrell Powledge; niece, Lauren Powledge of Brooklyn, NY; nephew, Damien Powledge and great nephew, Brooks Powledge of Missoula, Montana.

A graveside service will be 10 A.M. Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Pinecrest Memorial Garden with Pastor Vince Smith officiating. 

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 9:30 A.M. until service time.

The family would like to express its sincere gratitude for John Hamilton and the many care givers and medical staff who cared for Dennis over the years.

Services are entrusted to the Lambe family at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
