Doyle C. Green

Doyle C. Green, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025, in Marianna, Florida, at the age of 96. Doyle was born on July 29, 1928, in Two Egg, Florida.

Doyle was preceded in death by his parents, Counce Green and Haley Hayes Green; his son, Kevin Green and several of his siblings. He is survived by his beloved wife of 73 years, Mamie Green; his son, Vann (Gary) and granddaughter, Taylor Green. Doyle is also survived by his sisters, Louetta Corbin, Lil Hollis and host of nieces and nephews.

Doyle was the proud owner of Lambe's Welding and Supply for 60 years. The business is still in operation and Doyle was there at work the day before he passed. He was a tireless advocate for small businesses. Doyle was loved by many and was recently quoted in the Jackson County Times, "I had a good life".

The family will receive friends for visitation from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.

Entombment will be private and will take place at Riverside Cemetery with Reverend Chris Franklin officiating.
