Mrs. Eula Lee Sorey, known affectionately as Eula Lee, graced this world with her presence on September 3, 1930, and on May 6, 2025, she embarked on her heavenly journey, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and spirited joy. Eula Lee's life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of family bonds. She was a beacon of light to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her, embodying the very essence of kindness and friendship.

Eula Lee was born to the late Charlie Malone and Willie B. Thompson and shared her early life with siblings who preceded her in passing: James E. Malone, Willie E. Malone, Charlie L. Sorey, and Leona Scott. She also reunited with her beloved husband, BB Sorey, and two cherished sons, Morris Sorey and Charlie Sorey, who had gone before her.

Her love continues to thrive through those she leaves behind. Her son, Johnny Sorey of Noma, Florida, and her daughter, Dirta "Sister" Sorey, stand as pillars of the family tree, branches extending to her adoring grandchildren Staclia (Willie) McClain, Kim Sorey, Jamese Sorey, Reginald (Laterrica) Sorey, Niki (Bobby) Long, Ashley Sorey, and Jarel Sorey. Sisters and brothers-in-law: Elnora Sorey, Annie Bell Sorey, Willie James Bowden, Quinton (Mary Alice) Sorey all of Campbellton, Florida. Eula Lee's legacy further blossoms in her great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and a tapestry of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all of whom she cherished deeply.

Eula Lee's faith was the cornerstone of her existence. As a devoted member of Everlena Missionary Baptist Church in Campbellton, Florida, she lived her faith through actions and words, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her spirituality was a wellspring of inspiration and comfort to those around her.

A lover of life's simple pleasures, Eula Lee found joy in the kitchen, where she expressed her love through the dishes she expertly prepared. Family gatherings were a symphony of flavors, laughter, and shared stories, with Eula Lee at the heart, orchestrating moments of togetherness. Her sense of style was equally renowned, particularly her fondness for "Ear-Bobs," which she wore with the elegance of a queen and the smile of an angel.

Eula Lee's life was a portrait of loving-kindness. Her friendly demeanor was her signature, instantly drawing people to her. Her spirit was unbreakable, her energy infectious, and her ability to uplift others was unparalleled. She was a friend to the friendless, a mother to the motherless, and a light in the lives of all who knew her.

To the world, Eula Lee may have been just one person, but to her family and friends, she was the world. Her spirit will forever dance in the winds, her laughter will echo in the halls of memory, and her love will continue to nurture the souls of those she touched. Eula Lee Sorey's life was a beautiful journey that has not ended but simply changed paths, as she now watches over us from the realms of glory.

Public visitation will be Friday, May 16, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the M. Sue & Rodney D. Pittman Memorial Chapel, 5441 Cooper Street, Graceville, Florida.

A celebration of life will begin at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 17, 2025, at M. Sue & Rodney D. Pittman Memorial Chapel, 5441 Cooper Street, Graceville, Florida with the Reverend Riley J. Henderson officiating.

She will be laid to rest in the St. Paul/New Bethel Cemetery in Campbellton, Florida under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville, FL
