Lizzie Lois Johnson Fant

Lizzie Lois Johnson Fant, born on May 31, 1963, in Jackson County, Florida, peacefully departed this earth on June 29, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Through her journey, Lizzie displayed remarkable strength, resilience, and grace, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and perseverance that will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Lizzie was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness and loving spirit touched countless lives. She was known for her warm heart, unwavering support for her family, and the wisdom she shared so freely. Her life was a reflection of compassion, courage, and dedication to those she loved most. She especially adored her grandson, Landon Eleazor Sexton, who brought immense joy and pride into her life. Lizzie also had a deep love for animals, finding comfort and happiness in their companionship.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her sons, Christopher Ryan Johnson and Bradley Coy Johnson; her daughter, Ashley Nicole Sexton; her beloved grandson, Landon Eleazor Sexton; bonus granddaughter, Breanna Terry; and bonus great-granddaughter, Elliana. She also leaves behind her loving brother, Bobby Earl Johnson, and sister, Linda Fay Johnson (Jackie), along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close.

Lizzie was preceded in death by her father, Leland Eleazor Johnson, and her mother, Christine Harris Johnson.

Though her earthly journey has ended, her love, strength, and beautiful spirit will remain forever in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her. Her memory will continue to shine through the lives she touched and the love she gave so freely.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday, July 3, 2026 at James & Sikes Sneads Chapel. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at James & Sikes Sneads Chapel.
