Kasir Jovanny Johnson, age 1, of Marianna, FL passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at Jackson Hospital. 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Christopher Monday and his paternal grandfather, Clifford Johnson, Sr.

Kasir is survived by his mother, Cheyanne Baxter; father, Kardarius Johnson; siblings, Iyanis Johnson, Kylen Baxter; maternal grandparents, Elizabeth Hobbs, Jacob Brodhead; maternal great grandmother, Karen Bryan; maternal uncles, Paul Hobbs, Caleb Monday, Chuck Neel; maternal aunts, Phyllis Hobbs Bailey, Abrielle Smith, Leanne Hobbs, and Octavia Johnson. Survivors also include his paternal grandparents, Betty Leba, Marcus Cook; paternal great grandparents, Martha Pittman, Betty Jean Allen; paternal uncles, James Johnson, Jeff Bell, Sean Livingston, Wash Dorsey, Eddie Dorsey, Clifford Johnson, Jr., Ja’Quezz Johnson, Clifford Bernard Johnson, Tyree Johnson, Nyshun Johnson, and Willis Benton; paternal aunties, Sandra Dorsey, Mary Benton, Alma Dorsey, Olivia White (Jesse), Martha Dorsey, Shi’Keema Johnson, Cliffeidah Johnson, Octavia Johnson, Derise Johnson, Nykevia Johnson as well as so many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be 12 P.M., Saturday, January 31, 2026 with Pastor James Rhymes officiating. Interment will follow at Buckhorn Cemetery with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing. 

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. Friday, January 30, 2026 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
