Nuna Still
Nuna Still, age 93, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 21, 2026, while residing at Graceville Health Center. She was born on December 25, 1932.
Nuna was a devoted wife, mother, granny, and friend whose life was a testament to faith, love, and hospitality. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leonard Still, with whom she shared 64 wonderful years of marriage, as well as her mother and father Jesse Allen Watson and Mary Neler Taylor Watson.
She leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory: her daughter, Cathy Atkins and family; her son, Ken Still and wife Teresa; and her son, Roger Still and wife Lolita, sister Melba Mewborn and sister-in-law Dianne Watson.
Nuna was blessed with a large and loving family that brought her great joy. She is survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-great-grandchildren.
Nuna loved cooking for her family, friends, and especially her many grandchildren and loading her great great grandkids up with candy. Everyone who visited her home knew they could always count on two things: they were going to eat well, and they were going to hear about Jesus. Her unwavering faith, generous heart, and loving spirit touched countless lives and will continue to inspire all who knew her.
The family will received friends at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Graceville Community Church. The funeral service followed at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Dale Worley officiating. Burial will follow in Marvin Chapel Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home directing.
Though she will be deeply missed, her family rejoices in knowing that she is now home with Jesus, hearing the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Forever loved, forever remembered.
