Joan B. Savage

Joan B. Savage passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026, at the age of 84 in Marianna, Florida. Born on January 24, 1942, in Philadelphia, Joan's enduring smile left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Joan thrived as an entrepreneur, owning and operating a successful antique and flower shop that specialized in decor and wedding items. Her keen eye for beauty led her to not just collect art but to create it as well—her oil paintings were as vibrant and thoughtful as her personality. Joan's culinary adventures were something to remember as her kitchen was a place of endless experimental recipes and delicious meals simmering on the stove.

Joan's love for her family was immense, and she instilled in them the values of hard work, compassion, and the importance of beauty in everyday life. She is survived by her sons, Donald Jerry Savage and Matthew Orrin Savage; her brother, John Hutt and sister, Louise Miller; and her grandsons, Zachary Savage and Austin Savage, all of whom will miss her deeply.

No services are planned at this time. Memorialization will be by cremation with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
