Patsy Riley

Patsy Riley, 85, best known as “Sister,” of Graceville, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home on June 24, 2025. She was born April 8,1940 in Graceville, Florida, to the late Elbert and Jean Franklin. 

Patsy was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, of Graceville, and her Sunday School class for many years.  She was an avid reader and loved to shop.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Wade Riley, as well as three brothers, Benny Franklin, Joe Bruce Franklin, and Tommy Franklin. 

Patsy is survived by her daughter, Donna Riley-Beall (Roger); her granddaughter, Jennifer Shiver; her great-grandson, Beau Shiver; her brother Bobby Franklin (Ginny); her sister Becky Hornsby (Phillip); two sisters-in-law, Lanette Franklin and Betty Franklin; her faithful caregiver Sharon Whitfield; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. CDT, Saturday, June 28, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Graceville, Florida.  Burial will follow in the Marvin Chapel Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
