Robert Speights

Mr. Robert Speights of North Carolina and formerly of Marianna, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 11th in North Carolina.  He was 66 years old.

Robert leaves cherished memories with his wife of 41 years, Virginia E. Speights; three sons, Alfonso Hurtado (Eveletta) of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Nicholaus Lane of Marianna, Florida and Lennie Rodriguez (Justin) of Charlotte, North Carolina; one daughter, Carrie Rodriguez-Rutledge (Andrew) of Las Vegas, Nevada; four grandsons; six granddaughters; two great-grandsons, two brothers, John Speights (Agnes) and Walter Speights (Ruth); three sisters, Mildred Holden (Clarence), Lucille Kirkland (Deek) and Lizziemae Davis (Mango, Sr.); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, May 3rd at 11am at Springfield AME Church where Reverend Hollis McClendon is Pastor and Reverend Isaac Williams is officiating.  Interment will follow in the Magnolia Church Cemetery with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff of licensed professionals at Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna.
