Mr. Lester Madison

On June 18, 2025, God called our beloved son, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend Mr. Lester Madison, age 68, from labor to reward, Mr. Lester Madison. He was born on April 18,1957 to the late Cleo and Ethel Mae Madison.

Mr. Lester Madison

In his professional life he worked as a tree cutter and lawn serviceman.

Cleo and Ethel Mae were devoted believers of Christ and raised their 10 children in the same manner. The family church was St Peter Baptist Church. Our beloved father Cleo gave his children directives to never forget the St Peter Baptist Church. Lester honored this legacy by keeping the lawn cared for at St Peter Baptist Church.

The children of Cleo also continued the legacy to not forget St Peter church by collecting an offering for the church at our annual family reunion. This was done until the church closed.

Brother Lester Madison was preceded in death by his late parents Cleo and Ethel Mae Madison; two sons Eric Donovan Madison and Derrick Madison; two sisters Gloria Jean Dean and Donella Carroll; three brothers Henry Madison, Cleo Madison, Jr. and Robert Earl Madison.

He leaves to cherish his memories: sister and brothers: Gracie Lee Mitchell of Orlando, FL, Ernest (Peggy) Madison, and Willie Frank (Patricia) Madison all of Orlando FL; Donald Madison of Slocomb AL; Three aunts Eula Mack of Panama City, FL, Cheri Gilyard of New York, and Queen McClain Graceville, FL, and one uncle Alberto Perez Orlando, FL, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A special thank you to family members Barbara Madison and Lillie Jett and family friend Jimmy Earl who helped to care for Lester during his illness.

Public visitation will be Friday, June 27, 2025, 3-6 PM at the M. Sue & Rodney D. Pittman Memorial Chapel, 5441 Cooper Street, Graceville, Florida.

A celebration of life will begin at 11AM, Saturday, June 28, 2025, in the M. Sue & Rodney D. Pittman Memorial Chapel in Graceville with Bishop David Mack officiating.
