Robert W. Aldridge, Jr.

Robert W. Aldridge, Jr., passed away peacefully in Dothan, Alabama, on Thursday, January 1, 2026.

 Robert was born September 18, 1950 to the late Robert Sr. and Mildred Dock Aldridge. He worked many years for Ballouall Steel as he would oversee the operations. Robert realized at a young age that he was a talented artist, and he honed his skills throughout his life. His passion for the arts extended into floral design, sculpting, sketches and painting. His love for art also led him to share his knowledge as an art teacher at a community college in Ohio, where he inspired many students with his creativity and passion.

Robert's commitment to his faith was unwavering. He was a dedicated member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses for 13 years, where he found a second family among his fellow congregants. He cherished his church family and the fellowship that came with attending church.

Robert is survived by his son, Donald Aldridge and wife, Kim; two sisters, Ceceilia Knight and Mary Ann Beatrice and her husband, Steve; nieces and nephews, Brent Lannon, Courtney Lannon, Anthony Beatrice, Suzie Beatrice and Steve Beatrice.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, January 5, 2026 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Dale Harris officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service.

Interment will follow at a later date in the Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Kingdom Hall of Jehova’s Witnesses, Circuit FL-35, 118 Spooner Rd. Quincy, FL 32351.

Funeral services are entrusted to the Lambe Family at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
