Fall Seed Library Kickoff from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Marianna Branch of the Jackson County Public Library.
The Jackson County Public Library, UF/IFAS Jackson County Extension and the Jackson County Master Gardener Program will have a fall seed library kickoff from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Marianna Branch of the Jackson County Public Library. Library card holders will be able to check out up to 4 types of seeds and Master Gardener volunteers will be on hand to answer your questions. There will be three 15-minute talks on seed starting, seasonal gardening, and caring for your planted seeds as well as a fun activity for the children.

Panhandle Pioneer Settlement Ice Cream Social
The Panhandle Pioneer Settlement will have its Annual Ice Cream Social at 5:30pm in their gym. Admission is $8 for people 13 and up and $6 charge for children, seniors and members of the military. The UF/IFAS North Florida Research and Education Center will have a Peanut Field Day at 3925 Highway 71 near Greenwood. Craft Quest at the Jackson County Public Library
The Marianna Branch of the Jackson County Public Library will have a Craft Quest at 11:00 a.m. Participants will create a beaded wind chime. Registration is required. There is a $5 registration fee.
