The Town of Sneads will have an election on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Sneads City Hall located at 2028 3rd Ave, Sneads, FL. Notice of Election for City of Marianna

The City of Marianna will have an election on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at City Commission Room located at 2897 Jefferson Street, Marianna, FL. The purpose of the election is to elect TWO members of the City Commission. The seats to be filled are as follows: Wards 1 and 2 each for two-year terms. Residents of the City of Marianna wishing to vote in this election must be registered to vote by Monday, March 16, 2026. BOOK CLOSING: Election law requires registration to close 29 days prior to any election. Voter registration applications are available at

Marianna City Hall or at the Jackson County Supervisor of Elections office. Completed registrations must be returned to the Elections office. Voters may also register online at www.VoteJacksonFL.gov.

Candidate Qualifying Dates

Qualifying for the Marianna City Election, Wards 2 and 4 will begin on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 12:00 Noon and end on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 12:00 noon. Candidates must be a registered voter in Jackson County and a resident within the city limits of Marianna, for at least six (6) months immediately preceding qualification.

Those wishing to qualify must pay a qualifying fee equal to 4% of the annual salary for the respective office and must file the necessary qualifying paperwork with the city clerk at Marianna City Hall.
