Vertical Bridge Telecommunications Tower 2026060- A request to construct a 250-foot Wireless Telecommunications Facility with a 5-foot lighting rod on property leased from Mary Catherine Braxton Trustee. The proposed tower will be located on the north side of Peanut Road approximately .50 miles northwest of the intersection of Peanut Road and Hwy 231 in unincorporated Jackson County.
The public hearing will be held March 16, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. in the Board of County Commission Meeting Room of the Jackson County Administration Building at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project consists of the renovation of the existing 1,610 square foot Building. Work includes selective demolition, interior remodeling, and finish upgrades, along with minor exterior improvements and associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing modifications. The renovation will provide new interior partitions, ceilings, flooring, doors, and hardware, as well as updated lighting, HVAC, and power systems. Exterior work includes repainting, installation of a new awning, and new building identification signage. General Contractors are responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, and inspections necessary to complete the project in compliance with the Florida Building Code and all applicable regulations.
TYPE OF BID
The contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder whose bid meets the requirements and criteria set forth in the Contract Documents and in this Invitation to Bid. The Contract will be awarded on a lump sum basis.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after time has been called on the date of opening. A Bid Bond in an amount not less than 5% of the Base Bid must accompany bids and a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount will be required of the successful bidder.
MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on site Friday, March 20, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.

CONTRACT
