Friday: Toothsome; adjective. Temptingly tasty, good-looking, attractive. Look beyond his toothsome exterior and get to know his personality a bit.
Saturday: Extramundane; outside or beyond the physical world. Mythology from almost every culture contains extramundane stories and folklore.
Sunday: Finicky; adjective. Someone who is very hard to please, or something that requires a lot of care, precision, or attentive effort. Although she was finicky as a child, she grew up to become a world-renowned chef famous for her encyclopedic knowledge of global ingredients.
Monday: Anomaly; noun. A somewhat formal word that refers to something that is remarkable in its deviation from what is usual or expected. Last summer’s storm was an anomaly for this area.
Tuesday: Jabberwocky; noun. Invented or meaningless language; nonsense. The silly poem she wrote to amuse her friends was a piece of pure jabberwocky.
Wednesday: Impetuous; adjective. That impetuous decision could’ve cost us everything we worked so hard for.
Thursday: Emeritus; adjective. Having retired but allowed to retain their title as an honor. The banquet was held every year to honor the emeritus professors.
