One seriously injured in I-10 accident

The Jackson County Times received the following press release from the Florida Highway Patrol.

One person was seriously injured in a single vehicle accident on Interstate 10 near the 131-mile marker at 2:30 p.m., Monday, August 11, 2025.

A sport utility vehicle driven by a 50-year-old Jacksonville, Florida woman was eastbound on Interstate 10 in a rain storm.

The vehicle apparently hydroplaned and traveled into the median where its front struck a guardrail and rolled on to its left side in the inside lane.

 The driver was ejected and suffered serious injuries.
