By: Shelia Mader

The Sneads AA All-Stars traveled to Marianna this past weekend to participate in the Dixie Youth District Tournament. They faced off against Altha in game one Saturday and walked away with a 9-8 win before taking on Liberty County in game two. That didn’t go as well for the Pirates, falling 12-7. They took the field Sunday in the championship game against Liberty County and once again, Liberty County had their number, dealing the Pirates a 10-0 shutout.

Sneads finishes as runners up

There are days and then there are days and Sunday was definitely one of those days for the Sneads AA team. Liberty County ate their Wheaties and it showed with a 10-0 shutout.

The Sneads offense was practically nonexistent with just one hit off the bat of Colton Oliver who singled in the third inning.

Congratulations to the Sneads AA All-Stars on their participation in the district tournament.
