Teeny Mites Soccer Round Up – Optimist Park

The fall soccer season at Optimist Park has the fields full of teams, laughter, smiles, and lots of cheering. In the littlest of leagues, the Teeny Mites gave their fans something awesome to watch.
Dynamite vs. Strykers
The Dynamites had a strong start with Oakland Hasty scoring two goals and Omega Bess adding one.
The Strykers, though not on the scoreboard, saw impressive efforts from JaKobe Armstead, Maci Walker, and Israel Geter, who all showed great energy and determination in their season opener.
Patriots vs. Piranhas – 6:30 p.m.
The Patriots had solid teamwork on display. Beckett Tillman scored on a well-placed assist from Katherine Glenn. Everly Milton showed grit by hustling throughout the match with only a single break, while Miles Baker overcame first-game nerves and turned in a strong performance with a positive attitude.
Strykers vs. Patriots – 5:30 p.m.
The Patriots came away with a 3–1 victory. Hunter Dixson led the way with two goals, while Tauren Dyer added one more.
For the Strykers, Adler Faria, Addalynn Bonin, and Rylen Mitchell-Hayes stood out with their hustle and determination.
Piranhas vs. Dynamite – 6:30 p.m.
It was the Piranhas taking a 4-1 victory over the Dynamite. The Smith twins battled it out together with brother Bryar assisting sister Brantlee Grace on the goal. Miles Baker scored his first goal of the season and loud cheering from the stands brought a smile to his face. Beckett Tillman scored after dribbling the ball from the midway point. Ashton Tate scored his first goal ever and the excitement showed from head to toe.
The Dynamite’s lone goal came from Omega Bess, making two consecutive games with a goal.
