The 2026 Grand Ridge basketball rec league is underway and proving after one night to be full of excitement.

The 8 to 10-year-old Titans put together a season that will be talked about long after the grass has grown back over the cleat marks.

Nothing like a week with minimal (two to three games) of rec ball across Jackson County to regroup, revive, and get ready for the next round of sports.

As another soccer season came to a close at Optimist Park, the fields were filled with cheers, laughter, and the unmistakable energy of young athletes giving their all.

The 5-7 year olds hit the field with a gleam in their eyes anxious to show their fans how much they had learned this season.

The Junior League teams have been incredibly busy on the field, with a full week of exciting games!

The Midget League is the middle of the row league at Optimist Park and it brought plenty of cheers from the sidelines this week as the young athletes left it all on the field.
