Friday: Velocious: Adjective. Fast, rapid. The roller coaster is too velocious for me to ride.

Saturday: Curtail: Verb. Reduce in extent or quantity, impose a restriction on. Jan’s father curtailed her social life by grounding her for a week.

Sunday: Germinal: Adjective. Early stages of growth or development. Research and development is usually the germinal point of producing medicines.

Monday: Silt: Noun. Fine sand or other material carried by running water and deposited as a sediment, especially in a channel or harbor.

Tuesday:  Culpable: Adjective. Deserving blame. All the evidence proved she was culpable for the accident.

Wednesday: Verdant: Adjective.  Bright green in hue, green due to lush, growing vegetation.  Living in a drab city, I long for the verdant pastures of the countryside.

Thursday: Suss: Verb. Realize or grasp something; discover the true character or nature of. The detective could suss a new acquaintance in record time.
