Indians Fall To Roulhac

Roulhac Middle School pulled away early and defeated the Indians 12-2 Monday. Roulhac scored five runs in the first inning and added three more in the second to build a quick lead before tacking on four runs in the third.

The Indians collected four hits in the game. Maddox Lanier went 1-for-3 and scored a run, while Glover Graham finished 1-for-2 at the plate. Mason Mestas also recorded a hit, going 1-for-1 with a walk, and Maddox Gooden added a 1-for-2 performance and scored a run. Gooden and Emery Goodson each recorded stolen bases for the Indians.

On the mound, Mestas started and pitched 1⅓ innings, allowing six hits and eight runs while striking out one. Brody Ragans worked 1⅔ innings in relief, allowing two hits and four runs with two strikeouts, and Graham closed the game with a scoreless inning, striking out one.
