Jackson County AAA Roundup

A big offensive night across Jackson County AAA baseball featured several high-scoring games Tuesday evening, with teams piling up runs, stolen bases and timely extra-base hits in a full slate of action.
Muckdogs 14, Rock Hounds 5
The Muckdogs exploded for 14 runs on just five hits but took advantage of 18 walks to pull away from the Rock Hounds at Optimist Park.
Gabriel Taylor led the Muckdogs offense, going 2-for-2 with three RBIs and a double, while Connor Thomas added a hit and two RBIs. Amaris Curry scored three runs and drove in one, and William Moore finished with a hit, RBI and two runs scored. Tucker Lundgren and Camden Peoples each drove in two runs.
The Muckdogs were aggressive on the bases all night. Remington Money stole four bases, Curry swiped three, and Thomas and Taylor added two steals apiece.
Amaris Curry started on the mound and struck out three over 1 2/3 innings, allowing one run on one hit. Brantley Warren worked 1 1/3 innings in relief.
For the Rock Hounds, Teamon Leavins went 2-for-2 with a home run and RBI, while Ethan Grogan added a hit and RBI. Jackson Davis and Raylen Groomes each drove in a run. Drake Burth and Eli Sims also scored runs in the loss.
Sneads Orioles 10, AAA Braves 7
The Orioles used a six-run first inning and held on late to defeat the AAA Braves 2026 squad at Sneads Recreation Park.
Karson Wynn had a big night for the Orioles, finishing with two hits, two RBIs and a double. Carson Myrick added two hits and an RBI, while Coleton Johnson tripled and drove in one run. Joseph Campbell and Caleb Jenkins each collected RBIs, and Jeremiah Toole added a hit and run scored.
The Orioles also pressured the defense with aggressive baserunning. Karson Wynn stole five bases, Coleton Johnson swiped three, and Kaden Jones and John Gilyard added multiple steals.
Cason Hill struck out eight over three innings on the mound, allowing just two hits and two runs while battling through eight walks. Coleton Johnson earned the win in relief with three strikeouts.
For the Braves, Braylon Bryant doubled and scored twice, while Brett Gilmore added a hit and scored. Atreyu McDaniel and River Pettis each drove in runs. The Braves stole bases throughout the game, led by Bryant with six steals and Brett Gilmore with three.
Cole Davis worked in relief for the Braves and struck out three over 1 2/3 innings.
Scrappers 13, Blue Wahoos 8
The Scrappers outslugged the Blue Wahoos in another offense-heavy game Tuesday.
Hudson Lyons led the Scrappers at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a double. Brooks Barber also drove in two runs with a pair of hits, while Landan Laramore had two hits and scored twice. Jace Garney, Mason Hardwick and Declan Simmons each contributed RBIs.
The Scrappers capitalized on speed as well, with Brooks Barber stealing three bases and Laramore adding two steals.
Bryson Gray started on the mound, striking out one over two innings, while Barber came on in relief and struck out three over one inning.
For the Blue Wahoos, Beau Jerkins finished 2-for-2 and scored once, while Lincoln Lloyd added a hit and RBI. Vincent McMiller drove in a run, and August Rogan, John Henry Tillman and Lloyd each doubled in the loss.
Dicen Dabbs drew two walks and scored once for the Wahoos.
Graceville AAA 16, Cottondale Trimble AAA 4
Graceville broke the game open with seven runs in the second inning and eight more in the fourth to roll past Cottondale.
Jace Greer had a monster performance for Graceville, going 4-for-4 with a home run, three RBIs and three runs scored. Ashton Bowden added a hit and two runs, while Amari Laster scored twice and reached base with a walk. Tyrkiq Patterson, Marcus Alden and Myloh Fisher all added hits.
Graceville’s speed game was relentless. Bowden, Greer and Zavien Moore each stole multiple bases, while Noah Owens, Patterson and Fisher also contributed steals.
Amari Laster earned the win on the mound, striking out nine over 3 2/3 innings while allowing three hits and three runs.
For Cottondale, Khelton McClain led the offense with two hits including a triple and scored twice. Beau Harrell doubled and added a hit, while Aiden Tyus also collected a hit.
Finn Trimble and McClain combined for 10 strikeouts on the mound despite the loss.
Altha 9, AAA Sneads Braves 10
The AAA Braves team rallied past Altha in a wild back-and-forth game.
Brett Gilmore provided the lone hit for the Braves but made it count with a double and RBI. Cole Davis scored once and drew three walks, while Braylon Bryant crossed the plate twice. Atreyu McDaniel, River Pettis and Liam Kent each added RBIs.
The Braves once again wreaked havoc on the bases. Gilmore stole six bases, Bryant swiped five, and Pettis added five more steals.
Brett Gilmore struck out five over two innings on the mound, while Cole Davis picked up the win in relief with a strikeout.
Altha was led by Karson Wynn, who finished with two hits and two RBIs. Carson Myrick added two hits, and Coleton Johnson tripled and drove in a run. Caleb Jenkins and Joseph Campbell also had RBIs for Altha.
