JCSB Approves Additional June 2026 Supplements

The School Board met Tuesday, June 16 for a combined workshop and meeting. One item on the agenda was the approval of additional supplements for payment upon completion of requirements.

Cottondale Elementary School had three approved for payment. Alanna Russ was paid $1815.00 for School Advisory. Erica Barnes was paid $1485.00 for yearbook sponsor and $792.00 for Beginning Mentor Teacher.

Cottondale High School had numerous payouts for the June supplemental pay. Charles Obert was paid $5850.00 as head football coach, $3015.00 for assistant football coach, $4095.00 for head basketball coach, and $2475.00 for girls track coach. Colin Strickland was paid $3015.00 as assistant football coach, $2,745 as assistant boys’ basketball coach, $1935 as assistant baseball coach, and $1485.00 for yearbook sponsor.

Sheldon Vann was paid $4095.00 as head girls’ basketball coach and $2,745 as assistant girls’ basketball coach. Skylar Davis was paid $3015.00 as assistant football coach, $3870.00 as head baseball coach, and $1935.00 as assistant baseball coach. Jarrett Segers was paid $3015.00 as an assistant football coach. Michael Melvin was paid $3015.00 as assistant football coach, $2475.00 for girls weightlifting coach, and $3285.00 for athletic director. Kadeem Webb was paid $2745.00 as assistant boys’ basketball coach and $2475.00 as head boys track coach.

Stephen Trimble was paid $3870.00 for head softball coach and $1935.00 for assistant softball coach. Jada Gardner was $2745.00 as assistant girls’ basketball coach. Dexter Roulhac was paid $2745.00 as assist boys’ basketball coach and $2475.00 as boys’ weightlifting coach. Liza Speers was paid $1935.00 for assistant softball coach, $2475.00 as boys’ cross-country coach, $2475.00 for girls’ cross-country coach, and $408.82 for Senior Beta Club.  Addison Brock was paid $3870.00 for varsity cheer, while Desarae Morgan was paid $1935.00 for junior varsity cheer.

Kevin Potts was paid $3870.00 for head varsity volleyball coach and $2160.00 for middle school head volleyball coach. Allison Davis was paid $1935.00 for assistant varsity volleyball coach.  Daniel Lewis was paid $1485.00 for FBLA and $2,925.00 as Health Safety Coach, while Stan Scurlock was paid $3285.00 for FFA Director. Clay Dilmore was issued $1080.00 for Middle School Academic Coach and $1080.00 for High School Academic Coach. Rebecca Dilmore was paid $1815.00 for School Advisory and $792.00 for Marzano Mentor Teacher.

Tracy Zick was paid $792.00 for Beginning Mentor Teacher. Ramona Shelton was paid $1000.00 twice for Dual Enrollment, while Colby Hargrove was paid $817.65 for Jr. Beta. Samantha Wheatley was paid $817.65 for Sr. Beta.

For JAS, Jenny Bryan was paid $1815.00 for School Advisory. Jerry Justice and Crystal Johnson were both paid $900.00 for Multiple Preps.

Marianna K-8 had numerous supplements to be paid. Jamie Goodwin received $2160.00 for head football coach, $2160 for head softball coach, and $1080 for assistant boys’ soccer coach. Richard Davis, IV received $1080 for assistant football coach and $2,925.00 for Health Safety Coach. Clint Brock was paid $2160.00 for Athletic Director, while Tania Henderson was paid $3285.00 for Vocational FFA. D’Leisha Ephraim was paid $2160.00 for head girls’ basketball coach, $1080.00 for assistant girls’ basketball coach, and $2160.00 for Girls’ Track. Jeremiah Blount was paid $2160.00 for head boys basketball coach, while Jaeden Harley was paid $1080.00 for assistant boys’ basketball coach and $1080.00 for assistant football coach. Ryan Carter was paid $1080.00 for assistant softball coach, with Randa Jennings being paid $2160.00 for head volleyball coach. Miranda Sapp was issued $1485.00 for FBLA, with Travis Robarge drawing $2160.00 for head boys’ soccer coach, and Wyndee Rooks being paid $1080.00 as assistant girls’ soccer coach.

Maria Weaver was paid $2160.00 for girls’ head soccer coach, while Brittany Smith was paid $2160.00 for girls’ cross country head coach and $2160.00 for boys’ track, and Katie Clunan received $2160.00 for boys’ cross country.  Sarah Branton and Amy Snider split $1815.00 for School Advisory. Abby Cozart was issued $1080.00 for volleyball assistant coach, while Kim Schwendeman was paid $2745.00 as band director.

Greg Ohler was paid $1080 as assistant football coach, $2160.00 for head baseball coach, and $1080.00 for assistant baseball coach. Hope Commander was paid $817.66 for Beta Club, $1485.00 for elementary yearbook, $1485 for middle school yearbook and $1620.00 for cheerleading.

On a motion by school board member Tony Pumphrey and second by Rex Torbett, the vote passed unanimously.
