Three New Gas Stations Under Construction in Marianna

By: Shelia Mader

Marianna will soon see three new gas stations taking shape near Interstate 10, each at different stages of construction. The projects are expected to bring new jobs and additional tax revenue to Jackson County.

The largest development is a Circle K at the Penn Avenue exit off I-10. Alongside the convenience store, plans include a semi-truck washing facility. While the building itself hasn’t gone vertical yet, crews have been busy preparing the site for construction.

Just west of that location, at the intersection of I-10 and Highway 231, a QuikTrip is well underway. This station will serve both 18-wheelers and passenger vehicles, adding a major new stop for travelers along the corridor.

The third project, a RaceTrac, is being built just south of I-10 at the corner of Highway 71 and Magnolia Road.

It hasn’t been announced what, if any food options will be included inside the QuikTrip or RaceTrac, though Circle K has confirmed plans for a food establishment in its store, with details still to come.

The Jackson County Times will continue to follow progress on all three sites and share updates on construction milestones, opening dates, and additional business developments as they’re announced.
