Jackson County Runners Dominate Boys 5000 Meter Run

Seven of the top 10 finishers in the Boys 5000 Meter Run Finals came from Jackson County schools, with four of those runners representing Marianna High School. Leading the way was Marianna’s Travis Ephriam, who took first place with a time of 18:40.62. His teammates Jeffrey Bowers (3rd, 19:58.09), Aiden Glisson (4th, 20:23.10), and Brayden Mason (8th, 20:58.74) helped secure Marianna High the top team title with an average time of 20:35.

Other top county finishers included Jadrian Gilbert (6th, Malone HS), Richard Burrell (9th, Graceville HS), and Cameron Baxter (10th, Graceville HS).

Marianna led the team standings, followed by Chipley and Poplar Springs. Malone, Graceville, and Cottondale also placed strongly among the team rankings.
