Sewer project update from Alford

The Times received the following information concerning the work on the east side of 231 portion of the sewer project.

They started on our east side of 231 portion of the sewer project on Aug 11. The park and the community center will be closed for at least the next three weeks from August 18 through September 7 and possibly longer. After the seventh, we will address it on a week-by-week basis. All community center usage is being cancelled until the seventh at least for now. Silt fencing is being placed along most right-of-ways on the east side of town as well so residents will see that happening too.
