Laray Gibbs Will Be Kicking In The Sand At The Next Level

Sneads High School senior LaRay Gibbs will be kicking in the beach sand at the next level come August. Last week, before teammates, family, friends, faculty and staff Gibbs signed to continue playing the game she loves, beach volleyball. She will be a part of the Lagrange College Beach Volleyball team. She becomes the first from Pirate territory to sign on the dotted line to play at the next level, continuing her education as well as playing beach volleyball.

As a Pirate, she has played both court and beach volleyball and excelled at both. She served as the libero with the indoor sport, logging in over 1000 digs, 853 serve receptions, 55 assists, and 49 aces in four years on the varsity team.

LaRay is the daughter of Robert and Allison Gibbs and has one sibling, Bella Gibbs.
